Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content available through LexoSign infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. Your notice must include the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that you claim is infringing and that you want removed or access to which you want disabled, with enough detail so that we can locate the material.
- Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is sufficient for electronic signature).
Where to Send DMCA Notices
DMCA takedown notices should be sent to our designated copyright agent:
DMCA Agent
- Email: dmca@lexosign.com
- Subject Line: DMCA Takedown Notice
Please use email for the fastest response. We aim to acknowledge all valid DMCA notices within 2 business days.
Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice or an agent of such person.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complaining party. If the original party does not file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the removed material.
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA, LexoSign will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the service or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
Good Faith & Misrepresentation
Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorney's fees.
Note: We recommend consulting with an attorney before filing a DMCA notice or counter-notification, as there are legal penalties for false claims.
Modifications
LexoSign reserves the right to modify this DMCA Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the service after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
